Trumpet / Flugelhorn: Mitch Latting  has performed with The Temptations, Red Skelton, The Four Freshmen, Marvin Hamlish, Bobby Shew and Matt Catingub, to name a few, but he says he is most honored to be a charter member of the Royal Garden Swing Orchestra. Mitch has also played lead trumpet for the Manhattan Transfer and since 1979 has been with the San Luis Jazz Band as band leader, trumpet player and vocalist. He's been on seven tours to the Montreux Jazz Festival in  Switzerland with  Dr. Balfour and the Cuesta College music groups. The greatest musical influences in Mitch's life have been his parents, Frank Sinatra and the amazing Maynard Ferguson.

                                                                                                                           
Trombone: Bruce "Scotty" Scott started playing trombone when he was 12 and went to the Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati. He was on staff as a trombone instructor in the Navy School of Music and then moved on to performing with Bob Crosby Band, Les Elgart Orchestra, Buddy Morrow, Sammy Davis, Jr., Frankie Lane, Lou Rawls, Manhattan Transfer, Diane Schuur and many others. After moving to the Central Coast he continued performing with great musicians such as Bobby Shew, Bill Watrous, No Deadwood Band, Basin Street Regulars, and several local symphonies. He is a licensed real estate broker, but staying closely connected with his passion for great music, has joined the rest of the superb musicians in the Royal Garden Swing Orchestra.

Trumpet/Flugelhorn: Bob Bennett is a former member of the Woody Herman and Brian Setzer Orchestras and is currently lead trumpet for the Artie Shaw Orchestra. Mr. Bennett is a graduate of Morro Bay High School, Cuesta College and has a Masters Degree in Jazz Studies from California State University Long Beach. In addition to playing professionally for 30 years in the Los Angeles area, Bob is a former member of the Mt. San Jacinto Community College faculty. Bob has also won Jazz Soloist awards from the Fullerton Jazz Festival and The International Trumpet Guild. He recently returned to the Central Coast and is living in Morro Bay with his wife and two daughters.
